Chelsea Hansen (Girls Captain, Senior, 2nd Year Member)
Chelsea has loved both years on BBT and is so grateful for all the opportunities she has gotten here. She started dancing jazz, ballet, contemporary, and other styles before starting ballroom her sophomore year! She’s so thankful for getting the opportunity to be girls captain this year and work with the other officers. She’s so appreciative of the patience they show her as well as her parents for always supporting her even when she isn’t home till 10pm. While at Bingham she also was involved with theater all three years, including brushing up her tap skills in 42nd Street where she played Peggy Sawyer. She also loved being a madrigal this year and performing year round. She is thrilled to continue her education at UVU where she will join the musical theater program and continue dancing! She loves these team members so much and as it will be a hard goodbye, she is so excited for these final concert days and to share her senior year with these amazing people Nixon Pond (Boys Captain, Senior, 3rd Year Member)
Nixon has had the privilege to be on the Bingham ballroom team for all three years, and he has loved it, it has changed his life, he has built confidence and made so many friends on his ballroom journey, his first dance class was his 7th grade year but he really fell in love with it after he tried out with his older brother Boston, Boston has influenced Nixon in so many ways, he has pushed Nixon to his limits to be the best he can be and because of this Nixon was also able to dance on the BYU youth ballroom team this year which is a whole nother story of amazing times for him and of course he can’t forget to thank his mother and all she does for him, because of her Nixon can put his best foot forward in ballroom and anything else he desires to do. After Nixon graduates he is going to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Then after two years of not dancing he will be attending UVU and dance for them there are many reasons he chose UVU but the main one was because he wanted to compete against Boston who will be attending BYU and before he forgets he wants to thank his teammates and coaches on all the teams he has been on they have all impacted his life in the best way possible and he is so very thankful for all of them. Grace Holmgren (Officer, Senior, 3rd Year Member)
This is Grace’s third year doing ballroom and she has loved every minute of it. Grace has danced for about 11 years, 7 of those were competitively at a studio in West Jordan called Hip Dance Company until she joined the ballroom team sophomore year. She danced competitively in jazz, contemporary, and hip hop. Doing ballroom has given Grace another way to dance that she isn’t used to but loves learning more about. Grace enjoys swimming, singing, doing art, and hanging out with friends. She also loves to travel to fun destinations with her family. After high school Grace will be attending Utah State University in the fall to study Elementary Education. She’s super excited but sad to be leaving ballroom. There are some people that Grace would like to thank, her mom and dad. If they weren’t willing to help her out with everything, she wouldn’t be who she is today. Her parents are her biggest supporters. She’s also thankful for her amazing officers she got to work with. She’s loved being an officer and able to work with such amazing people throughout the year. Finally grace would like to thank the ballroom team. She has made so many friends and couldn’t have done any of the competitions, early mornings, and extra practices without them. They really are her second family. Ballroom for Grace was the best part of high school. She is so glad she got to be a part of it all three years. She will never forget all the memories she made. Love bbt forever! Olivia Kartchner (Officer, Senior, 2nd Year Member)

Tyler hopes you’re thrilled for this radical concert put on by his totally amazing family! Dillan Orr (Spirit Officer, Senior, 2nd Year Member)Dillan was first introduced into the world of performing arts in 4th grade through a community arts program, and he has loved performing ever since. His overall love of music is rooted in his lifetime passion of piano, which he’s been doing since he was six, but has since branched out into theatre, choir, dance, and so much more! He’s especially excited to play Jack in Into the Woods here at Bingham May 2-4. He joined the Ballroom team last year, and it was one of the best choices of his life! He loves having something to expand how he thinks about life and his body and how to interact with the world and those around him. He would like to thank his entire family for being so supportive, and especially his mom and dad, who came to the competitions and helped him fund the tours. He wants to thank the seniors last year for being the best examples, specifically the officers and especially his predecessor Cade Poulter, who inspired him to do what he’s doing this year. Finally, he would like to thank his fellow officers for being some of his closest friends, and especially Grace Holmgren for being his ballroom bestie throughout the year. He hopes you enjoy the show!

Kaden Taufer (Senior, 1st Year Member)
Kaden has absolutely loved being on the ballroom team. Even though it took a ton of time and effort, it was all 100% worth it! Kaden is a senior, and has been spending all day every day at the school. Whether he’s at a musical rehearsal, ballroom practice, ASL filming, or working in the ceramics room. Even though he’s very busy, he didn’t want to look back and regret not being involved. Going back to ballroom, it’s a new style of dance for him. He’s been dancing in musicals for 6 years now, but ballroom was new for him, And it ended up being the perfect fit! After all of this is done and over, Kaden is going to go on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and eventually pursue a career in the film industry!
